The Big Apple; the city that never sleeps; the cosmopolitan city on the east coast of the USA. New York has many names and just as many faces. Because the city is characterized by diversity. That's why my tips are also very varied. I would like to introduce you to everything you can see and experience in New York here!

I've always dreamed of living in New York one day. And thanks to my studies, this dream has come true. Because I was allowed to complete my legal clerkship in New York for three months; on site and not digitally. When I was accepted several months ago, I could hardly believe my luck. And that feeling hasn't faded yet. Because life in New York is as good as I imagined it would be. The only drawback is the very expensive cost of living. But for a once in a lifetime experience, you can put up with that...

Funnily enough, my studies had already taken me to New York once before. As part of a legal competition, the Willem C. Vis Moot Court, my team and I traveled to New York in February 2018. Even then, I was able to experience New York from more than just a tourist perspective. This enhanced the whole New York experience even more. But I didn't see everything in 2018 by a long shot. The city is far too big for that. Three months is even too short. But I'll do my best to give you as many tips as possible!
